Help Support...

 Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez

has been a huge supporter of our Oakridge Community.

  • During the recent Hurst Fire in January 2025, Monica provided masks, water, and Air Filters for our community.
  • She worked alongside LAPD, LAFD, and community officials to complete Phase II of the bollard installation along Foothill Blvd. This lead to the removal of homeless RV encampments outside our community with no-parking enforcement in place for 24 hours.
  • Monica has confirmed that funding and a location have been secured for a new fire department in Sylmar.
  • She coordinated efforts for a new Senior Center to be built at Borden and Polk, with a completion date in 2029.
  • Monica Rodgriguez teamed up with the Department of Transportation to add red curb markings near the main entrance, keeping the area safer and clear for everyone.
    ... and so much more!
